MEET ANASTASIA

  
Hi there, my name is Anastasia (I go by Ana!). I’m an interior designer who specializes in commercial and residential design. I have 11+ years of working experience in the design and architecture field. I hold Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. I’ve lived, studied & worked in NYC for majority of my life & currently resident in a neighboring state of Connecticut.
Over the years I've been blessed to work on many different projects/opportunities that taught me life lessons and skills.  Eventually my husband and I decided to call it quits and move out of NYC to a quiet countryside in state of Connecticut to start our little family. I’m a mom to my handsome 3-year-old boy Luka and a wife to my handsome husband Aleks.
After our priorities shifted, I decided to open my own design company – Anastasia Mitrovic Interiors LLC. To have more freedom with my schedule to be with my son! Being a first-time mom, learning all about operating your own business – many sleepless nights and lots of HARD work! It does feel very rewarding to have come this far.

IT WASN'T ALWAYS EASY 

 

In summer of 2020, a college professor from upstate of New York reached out to me, my 3D renderings caught his attention! He offered teaching position for their Interior Design program – I was completely flattered! Unfortunately, our schedules didn’t align, it was quite a trip to attend in-person classes.
BUT I never let go of the idea of teaching and pandemic basically changed all of our lives. I started to notice a huge increase in online courses & I thought to myself – I deserve to be here and teach what I know!
That is how I started  – Interior Design Den! So welcome my friends! I hope to pass on my knowledge and make you produce excellent work! 😊
